Fattorie Enrico Loddo
di Manuela Loddo
For half a century,
the quality that makes the difference.
The Loddo family cultivates for over half a century the olive groves of his property located in the area of Parteolla, 10km from Cagliari and 250mt above sea level.
In 1986 Enrico Loddo, father of Fattorie Loddo's young owner Manuela, inherited from his father two hectares of olive grove that over time he expanded with new land purchases all grouped up to the current 10 hectares of irrigated olive trees.
In 1999 Manuela, after graduation, flanked by her husband Nicola, took over the business and began to travel the world to raise awareness of the brand D'OLIA, synonymous with extra virgin olive oil of high quality.
The harvest begins in mid-October and is rigorously done by hand picking (grazing); the olives thus collected, stored in ventilated plastic crates, are minced in the same day in a trusted local oil mill, which guarantees the high standard of milling required by the company itself.
From the oil mill the oil is brought in the company site, stored under pressure of nitrogen feed in stainless steel silos, and preserved in thermoregulated environment.
The decanting is done by natural method, without filtration.
